What to do when we commit sin

Many people choose to hide their face from the Lord, full of shame thinking that their heavenly father will not want to see them or that he is ashamed of them, or that he is angry and for that reason he did not want us to even speak to him, However, this is not the case.

One of the things I have learned when I fail my parents or do something that they perhaps have not been so proud of, is that what they are most waiting for is for me to talk to them about it, I do not necessarily have to give them an explanation about what I have done, but rather they expect an apology from me, if it was them whom I offended with a tantrum, the least they expect from me is that I ask for forgiveness, that I admit my mistake and that I do not Do it anymore, and I will tell you one thing, our heavenly father is exactly the same way, if we sin, the only thing we must do is confess it, and with a repentant heart ask for forgiveness and never commit the mistake again.

All that the enemy wants is for us to believe that God does not want to speak to us because of our sin, that we will never be just or worthy of his gaze on us or that we should not put our eye on him anymore, But, don't you think that if we were worthy for Christ to die on the cross for us, we won't also be worthy to speak to him with confidence as his children? We do not believe the lies of satan, remember that this is his specialty, lying.

““Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Get your evil deeds out of My sight. Stop doing evil, learn to do good. Seek justice, Rebuke the ruthless, Defend the fatherless, Plead for the [rights of the] widow [in court]. “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the best of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 1:16-20 AMP
